There are many ways different formats and platforms that can be used to great effect. Formats and platforms such as shop windows displays, galleries magazines and billboards.
Shop windows can be used for great effect for showing customers what they sell in the shop or maybe promoting a sale which is happened in the shop.
The image above shows a shops window display advertising they have a sale in the store. Bold text and one simple bold colour helps customers recognise the sale which is now on in the store. With the mannequins in the window, it shows this shop is a clothes shop, however, there are no clothes in the window, just simple text and colour is all that is used as the store knows customers will be attracted by just the word sale. If the sale wasn't advertised then the store would not have any customers coming into the store and the company would lose out.
